Aimee Rogers, Gaming journalist & Writer
Want more readers for your publication? Got a game you can’t wait to get people talking about? I create gaming content that gets in front of the people who’ll want to hear about it.
Who I Work With
Different games. Same passion.

Gaming Publications
Reviews, features, guides and news. Whether you commission the idea or I bring it to you, I write to your word count, style guide and deadline without needing chasing.

Indie Studios / Publishers
Press releases, store page copy, dev blogs and launch features. I know how hard it is to get a small game noticed, and I write about them the way someone who has genuinely played them would.

Brands / Agencies
Blogs, SEO content, landing pages and long-form articles, across gaming and well beyond it. You get a writer who researches properly, matches your tone of voice, and doesn’t need the same brief explaining twice.

Features
In-depth, engaging features that explore games, devs, trends and everything in between.

Reviews
Honest, well-written reviews that help players decide what to play next.

Guides
Clear, player-focused guides that make complex games easier to enjoy.

Articles & Blogs
News, opinions and discussion pieces that keep the gaming conversation going.
Why Work With Me
More than a writer. A fellow gamer.

20 Years of Finding the Right Words
I’ve been writing professionally since 2006, bringing two decades of experience to the games I cover. I know how to dig beyond the Steam page, hunt down the details worth knowing, and find an angle that gives readers something more than they could discover for themselves.
Whether I’m chasing a news story, reviewing a new release, or disappearing down a research rabbit hole for a feature, I know how to turn that work into something worth reading.

A Gamer Long Before I Was a Gaming Writer
Gaming has been part of my life since the 80s, and that makes a difference to the way I write about it. I know what gets players excited about a new release, what makes them add another game to an already ridiculous wishlist, and what keeps them reading when there are a hundred other things competing for their attention.
I don’t have to guess what a gaming audience cares about because I’m part of it.

Human Content People Actually Want to Read
There’s enough forgettable content on the internet without adding more to the pile. I want everything I write to have a reason to be there, whether that’s an interesting angle, a useful answer, a strong opinion, or simply a story that’s fun to read.
I bring personality to my writing without making every piece sound like me, adapting my voice to suit the publication, the subject, and the people on the other side of the screen.

Why Gaming Content Needs More Than Good SEO
You’ve done your keyword research, the title is optimized. Your headings look good and Google understands exactly what the article is about. Perfect! Or…

Need a feature, review, guide or news story?
I’m always up for writing about great games, interesting ideas and the people behind them.
